Artist C TANG Yun (, 1910C1993) war ein chinesischer Maler, der fr seine Blumen- und Vogel-Motive, Landschaften und Porträts bekannt war. Tang nutzte traditionelle chinesische Maltechniken auf neue Weise, um lebendige Werke zu schaffen, die sich durch ihren Fokus auf die natrliche Umgebung auszeichnen . 1910 in Hangzhou, China, geboren, absolvierte er eine Lehre bei einer Reihe traditioneller Knstler in seiner Heimatstadt, bevor er 1938 nach Shanghai zog. Hier unterrichtete der Knstler an der Xinhua Art Training School und der Shanghai Fine Art Training School. Tang war einer der Inbegriffe der Shanghaier Kunstkreise. Er war sehr bekannt und malte sogar fr die Große Halle des Volkes. Tang starb 1993 in Shanghai.

TANG Yun (, 1910-1993 was a Chinese painter known for his flower-and-bird subjects, landscapes, and portraits. Tang employed traditional Chinese painting techniques in new way to produce lively works, characterized by their focus on the natural environment. Born in 1910 in Hangzhou, China, he served as an apprentice to a number of traditional artists in his hometown before moving to Shanghai in 1938. Here, the artist taught at the Xinhua Art Training School and the Shanghai Fine Art Training School. Tang was one of the epitomes of the Shanghai art circles. He was well renowned and even made paintings for the Great Hall of the People. Tang died in 1993 in Shanghai.
